The Kings attempted to prolong the obvious as they took a time out with just over a second to spare on the clock however no matter the fate of their open three at the end of play they could not overcome the Mavs dominance down the stretch in the 104-102 win at the AAC.
It was a much close…

After consecutive wins we attained we all overlooked a fact the chance was with us pretty much in every game . We have no valid deployment on the floor.. Terry and Kidd combination may be interesting to many audience but Terry and Kidd are very well predicted what they may do . Coach should snap out of dreaming to change the flow of the game with our little man Barea who has been trying to drive in when teams are strict in defense and his unprecedented attempts to try three point shots when he c…

Mavs time again and following two dramatic overtime finishes for Dallas, I personally am excited to note that this game will probably be a bit of a flat note in comparison. Not on the part of the Mavs of course, but unless a lot has changed for the Kings, they will not be…

Dirk Gives You Poetic Numbers, Other Mavs Give You Hand-To-Hand Combat
By Mike Fisher -- DB.com
Once again on Wednesday, the Mavs – with a 99-94 victory over visiting San Antonio now winners of two straight OT outings, four straight overall, and at 9-3 owners of the second best record in the West – survived a sporting war of attrition. Really, once you get beyond the star of the game’s numerical poetry (Dirk Nowitzki wears the 41 jersey and wore out the Spurs with the 41 points), what you are…

Beyond Dirk's Gorgeous Night, Let's Count The Statistical Hidden Gems
By David Lord -- DB.com
Usually, when someone undergoes a “makeover,’’ the idea is to make them prettier. This year’s Dallas Mavericks have been made over into an “ugly’’ team … and the results are gorgeous.
How did the Mavs win Wednesday’s 99-94 OT decision over the Spurs?
The easy answer (and not-incorrect one) is that Dirk Nowitzki was spectacular in carrying his team. But there is a deeper story here, one that goes be…

Bucks Star Says Roddy 'Is The Future.' But What About Now?
By Mike Fisher -- DB.com
In this first of a two-part series, we analyze the +/- stats on the two young Mavs guards. Coming up Friday: Part 2: Jason Kidd Helps DB.com Crunch The +/- Numbers on Barea Vs. Beaubois.
I’ve got expert testimony from Brandon Jennings and I’ve got statistical evidence from the last two Mavs games and … I’ve got to see a little less of J.J. Barea.
“I think,’’ said prized Bucks rookie guard Jennings of prize…

Bucks game was worth the bucks for the Bucks fans.
So the Milwaukee game....yay Dirk hit a fade-away game-winner in OT.
Yayyyyyy right???
Wrong. Why were the Mavs in that position anyways? I think the lead was up to 18 points at one time. Then they stop playing defense and let that kid with the mask start draining shots Eryan Ilysova or something.
But Waleed!! It was the last game on a road trip, back-to-back (so they were really tired!!), and Marion & Damp were out adding t…

The truth is, if we are always exercise, it does not mean that we ahieve total health. After I read the statement for the first time, I thought that it is impossible to achieve physical, mental and social well-being at the same time, so every person on earth is unhealthy. In my mind, this is not achievable, this does not make any sense.
Large number of people today think that I always exercise, therefore, I am very healthy and happy. Lots of peole think in that way?
After a whi…

Roddy Beaubois !
How about that Guy! He was so thrilled over the win.
This kid is one to watch. His 3 pointers and lay-ups are beautiful. He is not even a 3 point shooter, Don't tell him that! LOL! Way to go MAVS way to step up with Damp and Howard out. Jason Terry is the 6th Man in the NBA Period! Way to go Jett!
Gooden was superb. Even Humphries did alright tonight.

When you play in a place like the Bradley Center where nothing has fallen to your advantage over years and years of matchups, a buzzer beater finish in overtime takes on a special meaning. It is for games like tonight that the NBA has…

Lots of people today today think that I always exercise, therefore, I am very healthy. Lots of peole think in that way?
The truth is, if we are thin, it does not mean that we ahieve total health. According to World Health Organisation (WHO), health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Now Easing Into A Starting Job, Dallas Rookie Might Be Ace In The Hole
By Mike Fisher -- DB.com
Here’s a life philosophy as it relates to Mavs rookie Roddy Beaubois: Never bet against a guy who shows up at a social gathering with his own deck of cards.
“These?’’ Roddy said to me the other night at the Frisco D-League franchise party. “Oh, I do tricks.’’
(Look closely at the photo at left. That really is a deck of cards he'd just pulled out of his pocket.)
After watching the French-speaking…
