u think the Rockets are for real?

1. Hornets- Chris Paul...enough said...
2. Spurs- I don't ever underestimate experience. As well as allstars such as parker and duncan. It may be a game or half a game between rockets, mavs and spurs. But you better believe popovich will have his team ready to play when the season starts even without manu. I would be shocked if the spurs dont put up a huge fight for this spot.
3 and 4. Rockets/ Mavs- Well the rockets...I don't know..no one knows. Us dallas people all can relate to the risk they are taking with artest, hence the cowboys with tank johnson and pacman. Well if it works out for the rockets like it does the cowboys and yao can go an entire season without having a huge injury then these guys could be even better than we all think.
The mavs...the same. I don't know. I don't think anyone can say for sure. Depends on Kidd and a new offense. As well as the defense. Primarily at the point guard position. If bass can continue his development and green can blossom a little bit this year we should be fine. We should be fine at the center position, a place on the floor that I will be especially looking forward to watching this year. O and dirk can't get hurt...(knock on wood). O and Howard..get your act together. Play good. We won't say anything. Enough said.
5. Grizzlies- Do I need to explain?

well I'm going to cover myself a little bit here..
the grizzlies may be alright..they won't be terrible
they have a good chance of being like the blazers of last year...with oj mayo and their other rookies this will definitely be a development year for some of their young talent. if they were in the east or in any other division this team may be a different story but its the southwest..the grizzlies have potential and could do better than some people will think but like i said. we are in the southwest.

ya i see OJ helping Memphis in the future but the divison is so good that it will be a while before Memphis is dangerous
