Dirk scored 30 pts in a friendly exhibition game vs. China w/o Yao in Hamburg, Germany

I hope he gets back and gets better when the Season finally starts... In the first game, he scored 17 pts, then in the second one he scored 30 pts. Not bad huh? I still believe in him. Go DIRK!!!

Germany concluded its two-game exhibition sweep of the Yao-less Chinese team, winning 76-71 earlier today in a tune-up for the European championships. (Again, click on the plus for more info).

The key numbers: Dirk, facing a lot of basketball in the next five weeks or so, looked game ready with 30 points.

Dirk looks really fresh after 6 weeks of practice with Holger Geschwindner –
Dirk Bauermann (Germanys National Coach) told the media before the first game against china that he has never seen Dirk in such good physical condition at the beginning of a summer practice

Former Maverik Wang Zhizhi was the best Chinese player - he was hitting like Dirk from every angel – but in the final minutes Dirk was more dominant – It was also interesting to see, that in these final minutes he was driving hard into the paint
